Botanical Composition: Printing with Light

Use cyanotype to capture a floral composition using solar long exposure photography. Cyanotype is an antique photographic printing process that predates the camera - by making use of naturally occurring ultraviolet light, it can produce a negative image in distinctive Prussian blue monochromatic prints. Learn how to use light to print floral and botanical compositions using native plants from the meadow on fabric that are as simple or complex as you wish, and enjoy some downtime with the bees and outdoor space while we wait for the print to develop.
