About the event
Spend the evening with us on the meadows and learn weaving basics from Tami Fuller of Blubird Studio as we craft fragrant lavender wands from freshly harvested lavender. Lavender has been a favorite among gardeners and herbalists for centuries, and with good reason. Not only is it s pretty plant to look at, it provides a beautiful source of nectar for pollinators and you'll often find our lavender rows buzzing with bees from our hives! While we do grow this plant for the benefit iof the bees, we also harvest it and use it in many of our products because it has wonderful healing qualities. We'll talk all about growing, harvesting, and usinglavender while we learn a fun method of preserving it with our talented friend Tami!
